BBO Pockels Cell (BBOPockels cells) is a Laser device developed based on the electro-optic effect.

When a voltage is applied to the electro-optic crystal, the crystal Refractive Index changes. Polarized light transmitted in the Optical Axis direction is phase-shifted due to birefringence, which leads to a change in the post-exit Polarization State.

The working principle of the BBO Pockels Cell is based on the transverse electro-optic effect. Therefore, the operating voltage can be effectively reduced by changing the size of the BBO crystal.

Our team can provide BBO Pockels Cell with different specifications. The product can be applied to different use environments. Due to the low ringing effect of the BBO Pockels Cell, the Repetition Rate of 1MHz can be achieved with the self-made drive. In addition, we also provide Water Cooling type or other special accessories customization.
