Electro-optic Phase Modulator
Specifications

| Product Introduction

An electro-optic Phase Modulator (Electro-optical phase modulators,EOPM) is a device that uses the electro-optic effect to modulate the phase of a light beam. Free-space EOPM can be divided into broadband and resonant modes. The operating frequency of the broadband type is determined by the driving frequency and is usually between DC and 100MHz. The resonant EOPM can place the electro-optic crystal in the resonant circuit or microwave resonant cavity, and the driving voltage requirement is greatly reduced compared to the broadband type, but it can only work at a single frequency. The operating frequency of a device using a resonant circuit is usually less than 200MHz, while the operating frequency of a microwave spectral cavity is usually greater than 500MHz. Our microwave cavity Phase Modulator can achieve GHz-level modulation frequencies.
