KD*P Pockels Cell (KD * P Pockelscells) is a Laser modulation component based on KD*P (DKDP) electro-optic effect. Such products can be divided into horizontal and vertical types according to the direction of the electro-optic effect. When the transverse type KD*P Pockels Cell works, the light propagation direction is perpendicular to the electric field. By controlling the number and size of electro-optic crystals, we can effectively reduce the working voltage to the hundred volt level and achieve MHz Repetition Rate. When the vertical type product is working, the direction of light propagation is parallel to the electric field.
