| Product Introduction
potassium titanyl phosphate(KTiOPOHour,KTP)It is an excellent Nonlinearity crystal, but the gray trace phenomenon limits the application of traditional KTP crystal in high Repetition Rate and high power Laser systems.The anti-gray trace KTP crystal (GTR-KTP) provided by us has higher anti-gray trace performance compared with traditional KTP.Using the photothermal common optical path Interferometer, the occurrence of the gray trace phenomenon can be measured by the increase of the volume Absorption of the crystal after irradiating the crystal with a strong continuous 532nm Green(515/532nm) Laser Source for a few minutes.
1. Longitudinal test (before gray test):
The above figure shows that when the crystal device has the same light pass length, the Absorption value of the GTR-KTP (provided by us) crystal at 1064nm is only 1/10 of that of the traditional KTP crystal.
2. Grey test:
When a beam of Green(515/532nm) (400mW, beam diameter 0.07mm, power density 10kW/cm²) passes through the crystal, the crystal Infrared(IR,1030/1064nm) Absorption increases due to the gray trace phenomenon.
The following figure shows the Absorption value of our GTR-KTP crystal and the traditional KTP crystal at 1064nm as a function of time.

5. Damage threshold test:
By testing GTR-KTP crystal and traditional KTP crystal (polishing plate, Laser condition: 10ns,1Hz), the damage threshold of GTR-KTP crystal provided by us is 1.8GW/cm² @ 1064nm, which is much higher than that of traditional KTP crystal (450 MW/cm ² under the same conditions).
6. Transmission curve (visible and ultraviolet region):
As can be seen from the above figure, our GTR-KTP crystal has a lower absorption in the 350-550nm band than the conventional KTP crystal.
From the above data, we conclude that our GTR-KTP crystals have higher resistance to gray traces than the melt-grown KTP crystals.
