Neodymium/cerium-yttrium Aluminum (Al) garnet crystal (Nd:Ce:YAG) is a dual-doped crystal formed by doping Ce ions in Nd:YAG crystals. The use of Ce ions can produce a good Absorption of photon energy in the UV(355nm) spectral region, and the energy can be efficiently transferred to Nd & sup3; (B) ions, thereby increasing the utilization of the spectrum, so that there is almost no thermal Distortion in Ce:Nd:YAG crystals. Under the same pumping conditions, its Laser output energy is higher than that of Nd:YAG crystal, and it can maintain better spot quality.
